FAQ

Frequently asked questions

More answers in the Help Center

Does Everlage check-in work offline?

Yes. Everlage includes native iOS and Android scanner apps with offline QR check-in that syncs when you're back online. Prepare the assigned event before doors open, and sync pending check-ins when you're back online.

What do I need to do before the event?

Prepare the assigned event on each scanning device while it is connected. Prepared validation lists expire within at most 48 hours of download, and may expire sooner, so prepare close to the event.

Do offline devices share scans with each other?

Not immediately. Disconnected devices do not immediately share new admissions, cancellations or permission changes. If you can, give scanning devices a connection at the door, and sync as soon as you're back online.

What data is stored on the phone for offline check-in?

A minimized event validation list with ticket digests and status information rather than the raw guest directory, plus encrypted check-in records. During normal operation, unsynchronized check-ins are kept for synchronization or review, but revoking the device, security erasure, clearing app data or uninstalling the app may delete them before they sync. See the Privacy Policy, section 4B.

What if a phone runs out of battery?

Staff can also check attendees in from any browser: scan QR tickets with a device camera, enter a ticket code, or look attendees up by name, email or order code.

How many scanner users can I add?

Scanner Users are unlimited on every plan, with no additional charge.
